Reflection. What have I learned in this class? How it will be useful as I develop my professional identity? The Communication and Self-Management class has taught me important skills for my professional growth. I learned that good communication, like active listening and clear speaking, helps avoid misunderstanding and improves team work. Emotional intelligence showed me how managing stress, staying calm and being understanding can improve workplace relationships. Time management skills, like setting goals prioritizing tasks have also helped me become more organized and productive. Looking back, I found the course very useful, but more real-life examples and hand-on activities could have made learning even better. Still, these skills will help me in my career by improving how I work with others, stay focused and manage my time well. Overall, this class has given me a strong foundation for future success.

WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP Music has always been a major part of my life and my dream is to become a Punjabi singer. The lively and powerful rhythms of Punjabi music inspire me to create songs that are unique and meaningful. Singing isn't just about hitting the right notes but it's about sharing emotions and telling stories that connect with people. As I work towards my dream, I have learned that hard work and consistency are very important. I've been focusing on improving my voice, learning how music is made and understanding the challenges that come with being in the music industry. Along the way, I have faced challenges like stage fright, but every experience made me better. One thing that I have learned is how important it is to stay true to who I am even as I grow and change as an artist. Music gives me confidence and helps me express mys...

BLOG: THE POWER OF LEADERSHIP IN BUSINESS SUCCESS: Good leadership is the key to a successful business. A strong leader motivates their team, solves problems and helps the company to grow. Businesses with good leaders often perform better because they create a positive work environment and guide employees in the right direction. Suppose, in the hotel, a manager who supports their staff can improve customer service, making guests happier. In business administration, leaders make important and key decisions that are critical for the company's future. Leadership is not about giving orders by just sitting on the chair but to participate with the team to achieve the goals. HOW TO SPEAK SO THAT PEOPLE WANT TO LISTEN Julian Treasure's Ted talk, "How to speak so that people want to Listen," made me think about how we communicate. He talks about seven bad speaking habits: Gossip, judging, negativity, complaining, making excuses, exaggerating and forcing opinions. I agree with him because these habits can lessen the interest of people instead of increasing it in a conversation. He also shares a method or strategy called the HAIL method. Honesty, authe ncity, integrity and love. According to me, this is really a good method to make our words more powerful and meaningful. If we are real, true and kind then people trust us and they also listen to us. Another key lesson from it is that our style of speaking also matters. Using the right tone, speed and silence at right time can make our words stronger. This made me focus on my ...

BLOG: 3 SECRETS OF RESILIENT PEOPLE A Person is not born with resilience, its something we can learn. Dr Lucy Hone shares three simple but powerful strategies: accept that hard times happen, focus what you can control and ask yourself that is it helping or harming you. Her message is clear and inspiring. Instead of feeling sad, she teaches how can we take small steps to move forward. I learned the idea of where to focus attention. Life is not the bed of roses, but we should have the power to decide how we respond. Everyone cannot find it easy to think this way and some people need extra support. Hone teaches us that we can build resilience by practice. No matter what happens but we can find ways to live a happy life.

BLOG 4: The gift and Power of emotional courage. In this video, Susan David shares an important message about emotions. She explains that we should not see feelings as good and bad instead we should see them as a form of an information. I also agree with her that if we hide sad emotions with false positivity then they do not go away but becomes stronger over time. Her personal story makes the message more accurate and clear. Growing up in Africa, she witnessed injustice and she lost her father at 15. To appear strong she hid her sadness even though her family condition was not good. This experience taught her that ignoring emotions can lead to more pain. This made me think that we try to push away difficult feelings instead of solving or learning from them. Most important thing that I have learned from the video is that naming emotions correctly is very important. Instead of saying I'm stressed, we should recognise the feelings like sadness and this will help us to take the right ...
